Week 13: Patriots Clinch AFC East Title

'Slow and steady wins the race' was the approach for the New England Patriots on Sunday as they met up with then 5-6 Miami Dolphins.

Quarterback Tom Brady kept the passes short and emphasized the running game, stringing out the Pats drives as long as possible toward the end. Despite being a low scoring game, taking away a win was most important to the team this week.

Ridley ran a 2 yard touchdown in, followed by a 44 yard Dolphins field goal. The game came to a tight 17-10 after NE put up another TD and FG to Miami's single FG. 3rd quarter was scoreless, while the 4th quarter utilized both kickers again for 2 FGs a piece.

Tom Brady had an underwhelming 24 for 40 completions, 238 yards, four sacks, and an interception. But with the final score reaching 23-16 Patriots, a win is a win, and this time it's good for the 2012 AFC East Title.
